AI assistant
What the AI assistant can and can't do
It drafts; you confirm. Nothing is sent or changed without your approval.
The rule that governs everything: propose, confirm, commit. The assistant never writes to your data, sends an email, or charges a customer on its own. It drafts the action, shows you exactly what it will do, and waits. You confirm or you don't.
This isn't a setting you can turn off, and it isn't a limitation we plan to remove. An assistant that can silently email your customers is a liability, not a feature.
It can read your schedule, jobs, customers, invoices, estimates, inventory, timesheets, and reporting — so questions like "what's on today?", "who owes us money?", "which parts are below reorder?", or "who worked the most this week?" are answered directly.
It can draft jobs, estimates, invoices, customer records, reminders, and assignments — each one presented as a card you approve.
Ask it plainly. "Book Mrs Patel in for a boiler service Thursday morning" works better than trying to phrase things like a search query. If it doesn't have enough to go on, it asks rather than guessing.
It can be wrong. It's reading your real data, but it's still a language model — check a draft before you confirm it, particularly anything with a price on it.
