Card, PayPal, cash, cheque — recorded the same way.

Connect your own Stripe and PayPal accounts, take payment online or on the doorstep, and record everything else by hand — with balances and statuses updating themselves.

Why it helps

What you get from payments

Your accounts, not ours

Stripe money goes straight to your own Stripe account through Connect; PayPal uses your own client credentials. Nothing routes through an intermediary account we control.

Never offered a payment path that fails

Until Stripe onboarding is fully complete, no "Pay online" button is shown to your customers anywhere — checked server-side before it renders. Each method also has its own show/hide toggle, enforced at the endpoint, not just in the UI.

Records that can't drift

The charged amount is always the invoice's current balance, computed fresh at checkout. Voiding a Stripe payment issues a real refund first, so your records can never disagree with what the customer was actually charged.

How it works

Three steps, start to finish

01

Connect Stripe, PayPal, or both from Settings → Integrations.

02

Customers pay from the invoice; deposits target the shortfall and switch to the balance once covered.

03

Cash, cheques, and bank transfers get recorded manually and stack against the same invoice.

Straight answer

What this doesn't do

Every limit below was checked against the code. We'd rather you find them here than three weeks after migrating.

  • Tap to Pay is unverified against a real tap — treat it as not yet available.
  • No customer financing or buy-now-pay-later options.
  • Auto-charging a saved card only applies to recurring series where the customer explicitly opted in.
Questions

Common questions

Tap to Pay is built — tapping a contactless card or phone against the technician's own phone, on the same Stripe account. Honestly: it hasn't been verified against a real NFC tap yet, since that needs a pending Apple entitlement and a physical device. Don't build your process around it until we confirm it live.
