Feature · Technician copilot
The part, the supplier, and the manual — from the van.
A technician standing in front of an unfamiliar part can photograph it, ask where to buy one nearby, and search your own uploaded manuals for the error code — without phoning the office to ask someone to look it up.
What you get from technician copilot
Photograph a part to identify it
Take a photo through the app and a reverse-image search comes back with likely matching products — title, source, price where it's listed, and a link. Enough to confirm what you're holding and what it's called before you order the wrong one.
Find who has it, nearby
Ask for suppliers near you and results are anchored to the technician's actual location, sorted by real distance — falling back to the job's address when location isn't shared. No more guessing which branch stocks it.
Search your own manuals, not the internet
Upload your equipment manuals once and a technician can ask “Carrier 58STA won't ignite” or “error code E4” and get back real excerpts from your own PDFs. When nothing matches, the assistant says so rather than inventing a manual it has never read.
Three steps, start to finish
Upload your equipment manuals in Settings, and connect a SerpApi key if you want part and supplier search.
In the field, the technician photographs the part or describes the symptom in the assistant.
They get identified products, nearby suppliers sorted by distance, or excerpts from your own documentation — whichever they asked for.
Straight answer
What this doesn't do
Every limit below was checked against the code. We'd rather you find them here than three weeks after migrating.
- Part identification and supplier search need your own SerpApi key connected — without it, those two tools report that they aren't configured rather than guessing.
- Manual search only finds what you've uploaded. It is a text search over your PDFs, not a trained model that knows every manufacturer.
- Results are suggestions to confirm, not an order. There's no purchasing, no cart, and no stock-level check at the supplier.
Common questions
Manual search needs nothing beyond uploading your PDFs. Part identification and nearby-supplier search run through SerpApi, which you connect with your own key in Settings → Integrations — so those searches are billed to your account, not marked up by us.
